2nd Place - CanSat in Greece 2019
Inspired by NASA missions searching for inhabitable planets, Icarus was designed as a self-sufficient, low-budget probe capable of transferring complete environmental data from unexplored terrain.
Our CanSat measured oxygen, moisture, and carbon dioxide levels while creating 3D ground mapping for comprehensive surface analysis. A custom camera stabilization system captured high-definition imagery, and an autonomous ground station tracked the satellite continuously without operator intervention.
Advanced ground mapping system for complete surface terrain visualization
Custom-built stabilization system for high-definition aerial photography
Autonomous ground station with dynamic antenna orientation for continuous data collection
Comprehensive atmospheric analysis: O₂, CO₂, and moisture detection
